Who should i ask to be my scuba diving partner?
ok so im having a hard time figuring out if i should ask my best friend since 2nd grade to be my dive partner or just do it with my brother or dad,who both have there dive license already so they would have to take the class again,but my best friend doesn’t have her license yet! please help me quickly. oh and im a teenage girl

Choose the more experienced person. Until your fully comfortable in the water, it’s nice to have an experienced person to ask questions.
You can definitely ask your best friend to be your scuba diving partner. Like you said in your statement she is not certified. Once she is certified then the two of you can be dive buddies. Since you have family members who are certified – keep diving with them as much as you can to gain experience. More you scuba dive better your skills will be.
Now, here is a FUN suggestion for both of you to dive together as she is getting certified. I have seen this many times during my scuba diving trips.You and your best friend go on a trip together – with family or any other arrangements. Of course the destination needs to be a place where there is lots of Scuba Diving opportunities. First of all, get your best friend to complete all of the classroom, and pool training at home before travel. Set up the referral with a dive instructor/operator at your vacation destination (the local scuba diving training facility can set this up). Now, when you go to your vacation destination, you can dive with her as she completes the certification. Past this point both of you keep diving as dive buddies and become great scuba divers.
