What is the best camera and housing combination for underwater photography?

I’ve been using a Nikon coolpix 5000 with an Ikelite housing and strobe in the program I’m taking. I want to buy my own equipment and am wondering if there are better combination’s of equipment I should be looking at. Thank You for any help in advance.

    Probably one of the best cameras and housing combinations would be a Canon 1Ds III with a Sea & Sea MDX-PRO Mark III Housing.
