It depends how much light you have. Faster speeds (lower numbers) are always higher quality… but not if you don’t have the light to allow for reasonable exposure times.
I use Ektachrome-100 or Velvia-64 when not shooting digital, but that’s with either a single 260 watt/second flash gun, or dual 120 watt/seconf flash heads.
If you’re using a camera’s small built-in flash, use the fastest film you can find! I’d recommend Kodak Ektachrome 400 (for slides) or Fuji NPZ-800 (for prints)
