Blues and greens work best. Water begins absorbing light at the red end of the spectrum, by a depth of 30 feet or so, there is almost no red light left making red objects look an ugly shade of brown.

Flourescent colors work best. Can see them well in murkey conditions and because they are made from inorganic pigments they continue to reflect their colors as you go deeper.

I agree with the fluorescent colors. My husband has a pair of bright orange fins (they were on sale; wonder why?) and I can always pick him out – in the distance, in a crowd, in low visibility. When those fins go, we’ll have to find another pair of bright fins because I like being able to pick him out easily.

Fluorescent yellow stands out well. Red and pink are poor choices because they’re the first colors to disappear as you descend.

Another vote for the fluorescent yellow. My AL tanks are that color. My wife likes it, as it’s easier to see at nearly any depth we dive at (typically 60-80 ft).

Fluorescent yellow stands out in the water perfectly so i will support you to get those kind of fins.
