West Hawk Lake is one of the most popular sport diving sites in Manitoba.

The lake covers a total area of 3,685 acres, with a maximum depth of approximately 350 feet in the sediment-water interface. The lake basin was formed approximately 150 million years ago, during the Jurassic Period, by the impact of a meteorite. Today the lake hosts 15 distinct dive sites (6 Shore and 9 Boat dives) catering to divers from the novice to the advanced, with some sites in excess of 100 foot depths. The water temp below the thermocline, found at 35 feet in mid-July, sits in the high 40s to low 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

In Ordino Arcalis sector of VALLNORD SKI AREA

the Canaleta pool (2,060 m): maximum depth 12 metres. There is a 15-minute walk to the pool and the diving initiation can take place between 10:00 h and 15:00 h. It is a pool with an artificial dam built to produce snow. The dimensions and surrounding infrastructures make it an ideal place for ice diving. This activity is suitable for people over 14 with or without diving experience. All the necessary diving equipment and insurance is provided.

Small DNR park just out side of Denison, Iowa. No gas boats are allowed in the lake, used mostly for fishing, and swimming by locals. Diving is best durring summer when water is warmer.

Also known as Boracay Lagoon. This spectacular dive can be found on the backside of Boracay. Laguna de Boracay is suitable for all level divers and also used for dive training and night diving. This is a large area and bottom is decorated in large amounts of hard corals and marine life.

Fairly shallow dive ! Reaching a sandy bottom in 20 meters of water, this site has some incredible displays of marine life and corals decorating the seabed. Although suitable for all level divers, a slight current may be expected here, making a great drift.

A deep wall dive ideal for intermediate and advanced level divers. Also often used for deep dive training. Here you will gradually slope down to a maximum depth of 35 meters where you wil find a clean sandy bottom filled with corals and marine life.

Another deep dive forming part of the Jessie Beazley Reef. This dive is well known for its spectacular orientation, big marine life, excellent coral displays and marine biology. Sadly, due to the depth and unpredictable currents, this site may be dived by advanced level divers only. Dont forget to bring your camera’s along as you will have some great macro photo opportunity.

Situated close to the lighthouse, this is another one of the great dives that can be found on the Jessie Beazley Reef system. Excellent visibilty, abundant marine life and a splendid display of corals are just a few things to see here. Drop down and gradually slope to a depth of 70 meters where you will find a rock scattered bottom, clean sand banks and a beautiful coral decorated reef wall to explore. This reef explodes with playful marine life and is ideal for photography and night diving.

Found on the Northern side of the South Islet and forming part of Jessie Beazley Reef. A beautiful all in one dive that will offer any diver a dive to never forget. Dive starts on a shallow slope covered in corals and ends deep with a spectacular coral and seafan decorated wall teeming with marine life. If conditions allow, this site is also great for night diving.

As the name implies, this site has endless Gorgonian forests. Forming part of the Northern Atoll, this site has a similar underwater landscape than most of the surrounding sites. Also dropping to a incredible depth of 100 meters, you will find a spectacular display of marine and coral life. This dive is well known to have some huge marine life.

This site was named by local divers and forms part of the Northern Atoll. As usual, just like the rest of the surrounding sites, this site is also deep, thus only recommended to advanced level divers. Here you may expect to find fierce currents, abundant marine life and excellent coral displays. Beautiful underwater landscapes. Great for drifting and photography.

A site well known for its great micro and macro photo opportunity. Easy entry leads to a sloping reef wall no deeper than 20 meters. After this point the reef slopes another 5 meters to where it ends. This reef wall is decorated in beautiful hard and soft corals and surrounded by a excellent display of marine life.
