I am thinking a wrist mounted version (not regulator mounted) so that I can travel light. Is the Oceanic Veo 100 any good?

I would like to know if i need to go through the extra expense of buying a second one for my wife. They are very expensive. Surely using the dive tables and a single computer is ok? Or is this not recommended? Or is it a definite no-no?

I’m enrolled in a NAUI Basic Openwater certification course. As part of my certification, I need to memorize the NAUI dive tables, and pass an exam on them with a 100% score a few weeks from now. I have a feeling that my exam will be filling in a blank copy of the tables.
While we haven’t gone over them in class, I’ve looked them over and they look daunting. For anyone whose done this in the past, is there a specific way of learning them or writing them out (like by memorizing a few fields you can calculate/interpolate the rest)? Or do I simply need to memorize each indivdual field?
Scuba diving is something I have wanted to learn for a long time. I’d really like for a friend to take lessons with me, but my friends are either too busy or not interested in learning to dive. So I’d be starting totally on my own, not knowing any other divers. Can you give me some tips on getting started and meeting others to dive with?
I live in Washington State and would like to travel and scuba while doing so. Any suggestions on good places to go? Thanks for your help.

we just got scuba dive certified, and want to go on a scuba vacation. we have some gears like regulators and BCs. and looking for where is the best place to go. we like to go to somewhere warm water, good visibility, and cheap.
I’ve been going to sleep around 1-3 each night for almost 2 to 3 years and waking up at about 11-12 the next day, and whenever I have classes and have to wake up earlier (about 8ish maybe) I would get kind of sick.. I would loose my appitite and get bad stomach aches, the other problem I have is because im so used to goin to sleep so late, if I tried to sleep early at maybe 10-12 I would start tossing and turning and no matter what iv tried I just can’t fall asleep till almost 1-2, plus because I try to force myself to sleep, I wake up multiple times at night which makes my early morning even worse then usual
the main problem is im getting certified for scuba and I have a dive that I need to wake up at 5 in the morning to be able to get to the boat, and im afriad the sick thing I get in the mornings will prevent me from being able to dive so should I try a sleeping pill or any tips on being able to sleep earlier and acually fall asleep? (need a quick fix since dive is in 1 – 2 weeks
