At the very bottom there is a man laying down beneath the 4 models in the photo, appearing to be underwater, that I’m pretty sure is Witkin himself. But I’m not positive. Needless to say that whether it is or not makes a huge difference in the viewing of this photograph. Anyone have an idea?
