    I got SCUBA certified in September 2007. I have done mostly quarry dives in the midwestern US, and we also went to Costa Rica.

    In Costa Rica we saw lots of puffer fish, stingrays, a white-tipped nurse shark, a frog fish, some moray eels, a living sand dollar (when they’re dead they’re flat like a coin, but when they’re alive they’re round like a ball), and several other species.

    In the midwest I’ve seen catfish and other fish that are common around here, and man-made stuff that people have thrown into quarries like trucks, boats, a guitar, a desk, etc.

    I’m from the midwest too. Dive a lot in the great lakes.
    You see a lot of fish, shipwrecks, antiques (bottles, clay pipes…). All kinds of stuff.
