  1. fhotoace says:

    What is your goal?

We who dive or shoot underwater, know that the red light from the sun is quickly filtered out by the water starting at about 1 meter.

From one meter and down, it is necessary to use an external flash to provide true colour shots of your undersea subjects.

Adding a red filter only removes all the blue and green light found at those depths and does not replace the natural red light, filtered by the water.

For the cost of a 3-pack (£30) if they are able to defy physics, you will basically get one free.

Try the Auto-Magic filter and see what you think. Be sure you also shoot at the same depth using your cameras flash.
