A rebreather is a type of breathing set that provides a breathing gas containing oxygen and recycled exhaled gas. This recycling reduces the volume of breathing gas used, making a rebreather lighter and more compact than an open-circuit breathing set for the same duration in environments where humans cannot safely breathe from the atmosphere. In the armed forces it is sometimes called “CCUBA” (Clo…

Just got this camera and loving it. Next thing I want to try is underwater photography but the Canon OEM case is something I can’t afford right now. Ebay listed a few non-OEM but it seems like they all would compromise access to the camera’s buttons and thus, limit the functions of the camera. Anyone has this camera or something similar that can recommend a good waterproof case? Thanks a ton.
It was really weird. I come to ask this question because on tv, someone swam under a big ship such as this one: http://www.colorfoundry.com/images/cargo.jpg | and when he got under the ship, he blacked out. Could the pressure, and weight of the ship knocked him out? Since all that weight is going downwards into the water, would that create pressure?
It was as big as a cruise ship, and was stacked 3/4 as high as the worlds biggest one. It was a boat inspection, i’ve never been scuba diving before. But why would that not do anything to him, does the boat just sit there, being a weight-less boey?

A league table of sustainable fishmeal sources will help fish farms be eco-friendly, but questions remain over the environmental impact of aquaculture.
It takes around 6 tonnes of wild fish to reduce to 1 tonne of fishmeal, and then anything from 1.5 to 3 tonnes of meal to produce 1 tonne of farmed salmon. Producing fishmeal and fish oil for fish farming is in itself a waste of tasty fish that could be eaten directly.
